We have just been informed that the doctors feel that Sandy has made sufficient enough progress to be moved to a room on the floor.
Since there are no beds available right now we do not know when that will be but expect that it will not be too long.
Sandy has had a fairly good day [...]

Sandy has been moved to the Neuro-Intensive Care Unit. She is awake but in a lot of pain. The doctors are working on pain control medication so she can be stabilized. We were told to expect pain because of the intensity of the surgery but it’s still hard to handle.
