THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE NOT THINGS

The Best Things In Life Are Not Things!

How often, I wonder, I have spent time to achieve that material thing that I think will make me happy?
Only later to discover that once I have it I am not truly happy.
Yes, I may be happy temporarily, but it doesn’t last.
At least, it never has.
In the end it is not material things that make me the happiest; it is those moments, the love of God, those memories, the love of my family and friends that bring me true happiness—
No material thing could ever replace this.

HE WILL GIVE A CLEAR DIRECTIVE

God knows everything about my life from the end to the beginning, and since I can’t do anything about my past, I should focus on what is to come, asking Him for creative ideas on how to improve my future.

I will endeavor to receive counsel from the Head Counselor who resides on the inside of me. I will spend time fellowshipping with Him in prayer, and He will reveal to me the changes I will need to make in my life.

I believe that He will, by His Spirit, give clear and precise directives.

I can rest assured that my past failures are not so horrific that I left Him powerless to give me a solution for my present situation; so I will receive His counsel and be obedient to His instructions.

WHEN THE HEAT IS ON

WHEN THE HEAT IS ON…..

When the heat is on, when things aren’t going the way we had hoped or planned, that definitely is not the time to back away from God or try to reevaluate His faithfulness.

What I really need to do in those instances is to reevaluate myself; not God.

I should ask the Holy Spirit to show me if and where I may have failed.
If I still can’t seem to find out why the pressure is so excruciating, then I simply say, “Lord, I have searched my heart, by Your Spirit, and I can’t figure out what is wrong; I’m asking You to reveal to me where lies the problem.”

I believe the Holy Spirit will begin to make known the “things” that need addressing.
When He does, I try to be prompt to make those changes.

THE POWER OF LIFE…..AND DEATH…IS IN THE TONGUE

Faith is more than simply trusting God to be your refuge.
Faith needs to be “Spoken”….
“Confessed” with your mouth.
It is by FAITH that we bring the power of God into our lives.
Our faith is released by our words.
What am I saying? What are you saying?
Our words are forming our future.
If we are struggling with where we are right now, let’s look at the words that we have spoken.
The power of life and death is in the tongue.
Let’s speak life!

Can We Talk About Faith for A Minute?

1….Faith is……………..BELIEVING WHEN I DON’T SEE IT

“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” – Hebrews 11:1
Man says: “seeing is believing.”
God says: “Believing is seeing.”

2. …OBEYING WHEN I DON’T UNDERSTAND IT
3. ..GIVING WHEN I DON’T HAVE IT
4. …PERSISTING WHEN I DON’T FEEL LIKE IT
5. …THANKING GOD BEFORE I RECEIVE IT
6. …TRUSTING IF I DON’T GET IT

Great Faith is not having the faith to get God to move…..Great Faith is having the faith to let God move me.

THE ENEMY PLAYS FOR KEEPS!

I have learned to understand that the enemy plays for keeps, and he knows that if he can confiscate my mind and fill it with lies and deceit, then he can begin to operate from that arrogant position in my life.
He will try to manipulate my emotions, send thoughts contrary to God’ s Word, such as sickness and disease, financial woes, relationship difficulties….
The list goes on and on.

It is for these reasons that God has provided us with the helmet of salvation. Once we come to know the truth of the Word, it will not matter how hard the devil tries to beat us down and damage our spiritual foundation because we will know the truth of the Word.

It will not matter how hard the devil tries to beat us down and damage our spiritual foundation because we will know what Christ ’ s death and resurrection purchased for us.
Today I will fight the good fight of faith.

Let’s protect our minds!

WHAT SEASON IS THIS?

Just as there are seasons in nature, there are seasons in our lives;
It seems that no condition is constant. Even though we may be in a season of change, I know that we can be happy, and experience joy unspeakable and full of glory.

Our plans will have to change—just as the seasons change. We must be prepared to shift if we desire to be successful.

Following God will allow you to see seasons change and have the confidence to know that He has it all under control.
